What is the use of dynamic keyword in C#.NET 4.0 ?

dynamic keyword .NET 4.0 is used as a data type. It is simillar to the var keyword in the sense it can hold any object type which is dynamically created.
Ex:
dynamic mycalc = GetCalculator();
int sum = mycalc.Subtract(900, 500);
